1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using Amberpaws, you confirm you are at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) and that you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You must provide accurate and complete information.
You may not create multiple accounts, impersonate others, or misrepresent your identity.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use Amberpaws for illegal purposes or in violation of local laws.
Harass, threaten, or harm other users.
Share false, misleading, or harmful content.
Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or exploit our systems.
Abuse the AmberBrain AI assistant (excessive automated requests, spam).
Resell or redistribute any part of our services.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, pet profiles, posts). By posting, you grant Amberpaws a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely to operate the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. We may remove content that violates these terms or applicable laws.

5. Premium (Verified) subscription

Premium is a paid subscription with auto-renewal.
Pricing and features are shown in-app at the time of purchase.
You can cancel anytime via your App Store or Google Play account settings.
Refunds are processed according to the applicable store's refund policy.
Verification requires valid government-issued ID. Amberpaws reserves the right to reject verification requests.

6. AmberBrain AI disclaimer

AmberBrain AI provides general information only and is not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Always consult a licensed veterinarian for medical concerns about your pet. Amberpaws is not liable for decisions made based on AI responses.

7. SmartQR and Boss Events

SmartQR tags are tools to help reunite lost pets. We cannot guarantee a pet will be found.
Boss Events prizes are awarded only to users who physically attend live events and meet the stated conditions. Prizes are subject to availability and local regulations.

8. Intellectual property

The Amberpaws name, logo, app design, and mascots are trademarks of Amberpaws. You may not use them without written permission.

9. Third-party services

Amberpaws integrates with services like Apple AirTag, Google Maps, and payment processors. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from in-app settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy, except Memorial Mode profiles which you can choose to preserve.

11. Liability

Amberpaws is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Amberpaws is registered. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of Amberpaws after changes means you accept them.
